About Me

I got my start in 2015 working as a window cleaner in Austin, Texas. It would be another year before I touched window tint, but cleaning windows in luxury homes taught me something valuable early on: precision and professionalism aren't optional when you're working on someone's property. That discipline followed me into everything after.

In 2016, I moved back home and started a window cleaning business in Weatherford, Texas. Not long after, I took on an apprenticeship with an established tinter in DFW. I could see the opportunity, and I wanted in. That's when I knew I'd found a career that was exciting, demanding, and always evolving.

By 2019, I'd become proficient with the common films and vinyls in the trade. Then everything changed. That year, the Texas Education Agency began retrofitting public schools statewide through the School Safety and Security Grant. My background in anti-graffiti film turned out to be perfect training for anti-intrusion films as architects and builders started specifying heavier protection abroad. Eventually I moved into wet-glaze applications and took on two apprentices of my own. Together we served commercial clients across Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.

As I approached my 10th year in the industry, I knew it was time for the next step — so I founded IR X Films. Since then I've cross-trained in automotive tint and paint protection film, and it's my commitment to never stop learning.

I take pride in my work and I’m fully committed to helping people. Being a film dealer and installer isn't just about lifestyle or income — it's about solving people's everyday problems, whether that's heat, glare, or safety and privacy concerns. I also bring an artistic touch to homes and offices with decorative films, vinyl graphics, and cloaking technology that refresh and revitalize a space's look.

Over the years, I've worked in just about every environment this trade can throw at you such as new construction sites, high-rise buildings, secure locations, and even flight lines. Because of this, I bring a network of experienced installers with me to handle any job or project at scale.
